Is there some part of Alabama's football culture that you believe is responsible for throwing in "wrinkles" that just happen to look exactly like Auburn plays?
Auburn invented those plays? The ones that were on the video tape from the early 90's? You know, the end around and shite..

Hey coach Stallings, how is everything?

When one fan group feels they have a rivalry with another far superior program. The superior program's fans usually doesn't know about it or feel that the little brother is any kind of a threat. The little brother usually puts forth maximum effort in meaningless situations in order to get the feeling of a win over his rival.

Your first video was a direct snap to Duece, no? (I didn't watch it). Which is interesting regarding the conversation of who invented the wildcat (arguably Bama)...but not so much this thread given the fact that Auburn didn't direct snap to a running back once this past season...went to Kodi a couple of times but they were all designed pass plays...which I can't imagine the purpose for...although it looked good on one particular play against Ole Miss

I am still laughing about the Cam TD catch. I was watching the game with some AU fans, and all I could do was shake my head.

Not out of those formations...they aren't common at all...particularly for a team that claims to run a pro offense...well, not common anywhere except Bama I suppose.
Do you watch football other than when Auburn is playing? Because if you do, then you would know that McElwain has been running those formations since he got there.
You run your plays out of the formations you reguarly use. Those are formations we regularly use.

Don't really have anything to say about it.
So, Auburn > NCAA > Alabama State Codes.

Ehhh..not so much. Sunshine law says that pending investigations content doesn't have to be turned over. Res ipsa and whatnot.

I think if anything that film shows that Malzahn runs what he says he does - a 2 back, play action, run first offense out of multiple formations - and not some gimmicky offense that a lot of people say he does. Sure there are a few trick plays thrown in there, but most teams throw in one or two of those a game.
McElwain does a good job of keeping it mixed up too.
