There is going to be a 300m indoor track

Any reason why the FB field has corners cut, literally, and the track is only 3/4 the normal size? I mean if you're building from scratch, why not go full size on everything?

Nice facility. I have been on Vandy's campus a few times, where did they find room to put it? South of the old weight room?

It is actually above full size, as far as indoor tracks go, standard for an indoor track is actually 200m. Also you can't really see in these pictures but at the far end of the facility down the sideline will be 2 locations for indoor triple jump/long jump competitions to be held.

Where the intramural fields used to be, right next to the Student Rec Center.

Nice, I know there isn't a ton of room for expansion being in the middle of nashville. May have been discussed already, but any plans for the stadium?

Then that is just more weird. I'd rather it be one regulation size or the other, but I'm just a short white boy, so my opinions on track and field don't amount to anything.

There have been talks but honestly, Vandy fans need to show that they can fill the current capacity before anything really takes place on that front.

I may be wrong, but I believe that tracks for NCAA Indoor T&F competitions must be 300m or less.
