The Monday After: It's time for Vanderbilt to change its philosophy and embrace an option offense
This might not be a bad idea for Vandy.

A lot of us agree with that or at least some variation of it. Essentially need a service academy approach or something similar. Hoping they can entice Chadwell.

That will be a very good hire. But I believe South Carolina will get him. Chadwell would rather be at South Carolina or at Vanderbilt?

If I were a football coach, I certainly wouldn't choose Vandy over USCe unless there were major financial reasons to do so.

Think about man. If you are a head coach, you aren’t winning a Natty. It’s all about how long can you keep the golden goose going. Would you rather coach at school A. In which a you’ll cash checks for 7 years with a conference winning percentage of 20% or school B. where winning double the amount of conference games will get you fired in 5 years?

Give me the Vandy job and live in Nashville all day long.
