How in the city of Nashville does Vandy baseball not get more support? Does the school promote the team with billboards around town and promotions? No reason you guys shouldn't sell out 3700 every night for that program! Amazing team this year and 2 years ago!

Baseball being baseball that's pretty damn amazing. What'd Vandy have, like 8 weekend sweeps?
7 SEC sweeps. Losses to UF, UGa and Bama.

The marketing of this team is basically non-existent and the fan base is old. Marketing to the younger, sidewalk fans in Nashville would grow the fan base and would inject some much-needed life into it.

Vandy Lance is pretty much as outspoken as we get in terms of marketing. It is pretty shocking how few people were there even in the 2007 run. I was there for that one, and I was blown away.

Sad but true. I would love to see even a fraction of the commercials and billboards for baseball as we see for football and basketball. I honestly believe that the season tickets are too cheap. Many of the infield season ticket holders have been on auto-renew for years and can't make an effort to come to even 5 games a year. Get the people in there that really want to be there.

Lets not get too down on attendance numbers. Our 2013 attendance ranking will finish around 23rd in the country. Given we are a private school with a small enrollment and not a State school, this is a decent showing. It could be better and will be with just a little PR work.

Totally agree. The tickets sold number is decent given the factors you mentioned. I'd just like to see more of those ticket holders actually attending games, especially the infield holders.
