re: UNC created fake classes for athletes with no faculty and no attendance

AFAM department's professor and his assistant set up the term paper class to help, primarily, minority students. Athletic department had nothing to do with it, but, admittedly took advantage of the fact that most students got A's and B's in the class. Interestingly, the word eventually got out about the class to the Fraternities so you had a lot of frat guys taking the class as well. It wasn't just for athletes.

I believe the AFAM department was never fully scrutinized for PC reasons.
