I know that the boys get tested alot. My youngest son gets tested at least a couple of times during a semester. They claim that the tests are random but both of my sons had to take a extraordinary amount of piss tests when they were both playing ball for Mizzou. Both the Football and Basketball programs have been less tolerant over the past 10 years or so. Pinkel permanently dismissed Blaine Dalton, one of our backup QBs after 3 incidents. Two were related to drugs and one was for an arrest

Yes, yes. That's why we're better.

Of coarse it has nothing to do with players actually having respect and fearing Saban, or Saban being an overly strict disciplinarian. It has nothing to do with Saban being the best defensive mind in football. It has nothing to do with wus being the greatest CFB of all-time. It has nothing to do with Sabans work ethic, and demand for excellence/accountability.

It's all about cheatin' ole Bama! It has nothing to do with the fact that Richt is lazy and spineless.

Just STFU you awful, idiotic troll. Nowhere at all in his post did he say anything remotely close to what you said. You truly are one of the worst posters on this site, and that's saying something.

I shite you not, Rennie Curran was suspended a game for failing to renew his license

No. Curran got pulled over with an expired license, was fined, and then never paid the fine.

Quit trying to act like UGA players get suspended for minor traffic violations. They get suspended for driving with a suspended license, having warrants served on them for Failure to Appear/paying fines.

Other schools traffic violations are not a big deal, you know why? Because most people/players pay their fines, and dont drive around with a suspended license.

GFY. Yea I'm a troll because I point out the obvious, and state the truth. And he most definitely said that.

Just dig your head back in the sand and look forward to next years offseason. I'll enjoy the season for you.

You know what's funny? The offseason isnt close to being over, I wonder how many more players will be suspended over the summer. Good luck on fielding a defense.

All programs have issues at times, but it seems to be a constant problem at UGA.

This is what UGA fans dont get. Tell that to Calloway(weed), and Rashad Johnson(fight at club), and JPW(DUI) that Saban has our police in his pocket.

Like you said, every school will have these problems. It's the lack of repsect for their HC which stems the constant arrest/failed drug test for UGA.

But I think it's a lot easier for them to just say "Bama cheats, and TPD lets the players get away with anything".

First off, its COURSE. Secondly, Bama's "success" is a direct result of cheating. However, proving Bama cheats is like proving Tom Cruise is gay. While no concrete facts are there, everyone knows it.

Upshaw committed domestic violence and nothing happened to him. God knows what your other thugish players were up to

Damn Good VG never said Bama cheated. Guilty conscience?

If you don't think that some PDs are more apt to turn the other cheek when they can then I don't know what to tell you. Note that I did not mention a specific school and do not intend to mean a specific school. It's either that or some schools just get unlucky with the recruits that sign more than the other schools because we all recruit the same "gentlemen".

Ha, AL is not NOLA, and really of all LA. Curruption has been apart of their culture for a long, long time.

As a matter of fact I found my buisness deals in Alabama very New Orleans like. However I had never found that to be true in my Atlanta deals.

Pinkel permanently dismissed Blaine Dalton

"Cocaine Blaine" came to Mizzou with such high expectations, everyone was so pumped about him. But his problems went deeper than some pot. The pharmacy full of stuff in his car when he was arrested was the last straw after Pinkel tried to get him going the right direction.

Pinkel cares about the players, but he can be a real hardass too - not afraid to suspend players or kick them off. He booted our best DB before the season last year because of violation of team rules - most thought related to studying and grades. After he cleaned up his act, he's now back on the team, but working his way up the depth chart like everyone else.

It just seems like Richt doesn't have respect from all his players. They don't care about disappointing him, or letting down their teammates which is worse.

So Athens PD just happens to be different from every other PD in the south? Have you ever been there? Like I said, tell me that our PD caters our team when Calloway got busted with weed(past year), Rashad Johnson(club fight where video evidence later proved him innocent, but was initially charged), and JPW DUI. Besides, this has nothing to do w/ Athens PD, these guys failed NCAA drug test.

What you dont get is Richts players do not respect him. They dont fear him. He doesnt hold people accountable. What many dont know is that he has let things slide so many times that players think that nothing will happen. After awhile it gets to a point where you have to suspend them.

Interesting. I'm not saying we're on NOLA level, but you can pay your way out of/into many things in Atlanta.

Until pot is decriminalized, which won't be any time soon, we're going to have suspensions like this every year and it will continue to affect the team. It's just the way it is and it's pathetic that the supposed "leaders" of the team would continue to do shite like this.

agree regarding the football players being stupid - if you know you will be tested and you can't use pot then you just can't let down your teammates by using

RE: should pot be tested for? I don't know why it should. It doesn't strike me as a performance enhancer (probably the opposite on the balance) and unless they test kids under 21 for alcohol the argument that it should be tested for because it is illegal doesn't seem very consistent.
