Big mouth RB Lane....

quote:

“I think we are averaging way more yards that we were at this time last year,” Lane said. “Coming into the Georgia game we going to keep the run game going. We are not going to let another team stop us from meeting our goal.”

Hey Lane, you're 27th in rushing in the SEC, with 38/game and 0 TD's. Your job is to shut up and pretend to be Todd Gurley on the scout team.

What hurt you was giving up 353 fricking yards on the ground. That wasn't all Burton.

Nice try Clif

How did UF running the spread option with Burton turn your offense into shite on a cracker?

What is their goal, rush for 100 yards total per game?

Throwing out rankings is pointless. obviously none of our RBs are gonna be high in ranking simply because of the amount we pass the ball.

We did run the ball very effective against UF before we went to crap in the 4th qtr.

Because bray loses his mind. Im just saying that we match up actually pretty well with UGA.

We have advantages at WR&TE and our interior rush D is very good with Mcullers.

Or simply because they suck!

So they're so terribly conditioned that they can't make it through a full game. Got it. So you're good for 3 quarters. Excellent, now I'm really worried about that UT rushing attack.

Georgia has owned the 2nd half this year. It doesn't bode well that your team gave out of gas at home late, coming into this game in Athens when that's typically when we excel.

Your best chance to win is gonna have to be to explode early. Get like 24 points in the first half or something. If you're up by 10 or less (or losing) at halftime yall won't have much hope. And I would be shocked if we were down by 10 at halftime.

Our D gave up 2 big plays to make it a 2 score game, and we got away from the run. Had nothing to do with whatever stupid point you are trying to make

Why will that change this week?

Our defense will be the best you've faced all season. How do you match up better against us than UF? You aren't going to run on us, that much is almost assured. So we're basically going to make yall throw like 40 times and beat us, which I don't see you doing now we have our ballhawk and another pass rusher back.

quote:

We have advantages at WR&TE

The WRs and TEs don't line up against each other so that's irrelevant

quote:

our interior rush D is very good with Mcullers

That's great that you have a mammoth at DT, and he is definitely a concern. But have you seen Gurley play yet?

Totally agree, but all i was saying was the only big plays we gave up and what changed the UF game was when they went back to their stupid read option wildcat.

and since UGA doesnt do that.. I feel good about us being able to hold you all in the 20s which gives our offense (that IMO has some advantages at WR&TE) a chance to be in this game late.

Point is you don't know wtf you're talking about. UT's only real chance of winning this game is if UGA shats the bed like we normally do for one game that we're not suppose to lose. Even then I wouldn't consider UT a better team, it would just be Georgia being Georgia.

Your DBs and LBs are not as good as our WR's and TE's (getting Rambo back helps bc he can ball) but we do have 1on1 advantages there.

and yes Gurley is great im not taking anything away from him. but he is not worlds and worlds away better than Gilaslee for UF so i like our chances of not letting him totally take over the game

We've scored 40+ points in every game so far. I doubt tennessee's defense is going to cut that in half.

Uts D is better than any that you have faced this year.

Vandys D is ok but doesnt have the talent that UTs does.

I dont' know how to quantify "worlds and worlds" but he's damn sure better and the stats bear that out. He leads the SEC in rushing, scoring, and YPC. I don't care if you play all cupcakes, a 9.2 YPC through 4 games is stout.

I can agree with this to some extent, but you lost me on the LBs. We possibly have one of the best groups of LBs in the conference.

I know they are good but the way we use Riveara makes him very tough for a LB to cover.
