Apparently they already impressed ESPN enough to have their Spring Game televised nationally. Bama's is also being televised nationally.

Is that why it's being nationally televised?

Stupid question considering the first sentences of the article you linked are:

quote:

In an effort to fill the seats for ESPN cameras, Georgia will make admission free for next month’s G-Day spring intra-squad football game in Sanford Stadium.

“We’re hoping all fans feel there is nothing to keep them from coming and filling up that stadium and having a great sight for the nation to see,” Georgia coach Mark Richt said Wednesday

Aww Coach Christ thinks the whole nation will be watching the Georgia spring game! How cute. Yes, we all can't wait to get a look at that new QB

April 18th, in the state of LA. Why? B/c no one outsid eof LA cares...just like no one else will be watching the Doggie and Bammer spring games on a Saturday afternoon unless they are laying in a hospital bed in full body cast without access to a remote.

FWIW, if it was on I'd watch it. Why? Because I like football. I watched UFs spring game last year on ESPN. You look like a little bitch whining about this, but that's probably pretty normal for you..little bitch.

Same here. Hell I think I would watch all of the SEC teams spring games minus Vandy and UK if they were on ESPN.

Maybe they can make their spring game a blackout, it would be foolproof.

It's not that big of a friggin' deal. Admission to G-Day is only $5, and the money is donated to an Athens area charity (hospitals, boy/girl scouts, etc.). UGA usually gets around 20-30,000 for G-Day. Also, the spring game is typically on Master's weekend, and opening weekend @ Turner Field.
