The SEC should get some more once the track events start up.

I didn't say I wasn't acknowledging UGA's accomplishments. UF is still leading any university (2 golds and 2 silvers).
I may be incorrect, but we also have the most athletes competing, not just for the USA. 33 in total.

The California (USC, Cal, UCLA) schools have much more athletes than any of the SEC schools. But as far as SEC goes, you are correct, Florida has the most competing.
It's UF 1st, Auburn 2nd, and UGA 3rd in terms of competing Olympians.

FWIW, Gatorzone is counting 2 for the relay since Dwyer and Lochte were both on the team. That is probably how it should be counted since we are talking about individuals who have won medals. They also count a gold for Dana Vollmer who split her college career between UF and Cal.
4 golds and 2 silvers, I like their list better.

Thier list is wrong...team won a gold therefore UF gets one
Posted on 7/31/12 at 11:08 pm to parkjas2001
True, but I think they are looking at individuals from UF who have won medals, so they split it up. Just trying to acknowledge they had 2 of the 4 members of the relay team.

I knew Auburn was full of Commie Pinko bastards.
UF had same number of Americans swimming Olympians in the 4x200 Gold winning team as Auburn's American swimmers.
One race for UF > Auburn in the Olympics
