Good job earning your keep. Now, why are we keeping SC?
They need to step it up in something obscure too.

Hey its better than tennis and golf.

Plus we are hosting the NCAAs next month, which is kinda fun to watch if you've never been.

And it makes things more interesting when the Olympics come around.

It's their responsibility to hire washed up coaches.

First Holtz, then Spurrier, then they will make a push for (in no particular order):

John Madden
Joe Paterno
Bobby Bowden

Our Women's Outdoor Track won the national championship in 2002.

The South Carolina hurdlers stole the show on the final day of the SEC Outdoor Championships with titles in the 110m hurdles and the 400m hurdles, highlighted by a 1-2-4 finish in the 110m hurdles with Jason Richardson earning his second consecutive title. Johnny Dutch earned his first title with the win in the 400m hurdles.

Thats how the SC men did this year.

Our women's tennis team made it to the Elite 8 this year and were knocked about UGA yesterday in what is described as an "Epic 4-3 loss" (i dont follow tennis so i have no idea what that means )

Dawn Staley in her 2nd year as our Women's basketball coach just signed the #4 recruiting class in the nation.

Our Women's equestrian team won the national championship in 2005 and 2007

SC men's soccer won the CUSA conference championship in 2005.

Though I do not consider this an obscure sport but our baseball team has made it to the SEC Tournament for the 13th year in a row. The longest active streak among SEC schools.

So worry about your own damn obscure sports.

Funny an Arky fan is talking crap about those 2 as Arky is a mediocre 6-4 vs those 2 while at SC. One of those wins being during our 0-12 season. This is coming from a team that hires a coach that jumps ship faster than the passengers of the Titanic.

As a collegiate sport, yes, it is.

LSU still has more SEC outdoor titles

You have 22 in the existence of your outdoor program, most of them pre-vietnam, not a single one since 1990, and Arkansas has won 15 of the 18 since 1992.

and have a massive lead in the all-time individual SEC titles

How many more years has LSU been in the SEC? Because since 1992 I assure you that Arkansas has more SEC and NCAA Individual titles than you.

Tyson Gay is one heck of an athlete. It was a shame to see him not do so well in the 100 m at the Olympics. That hamstring had to still be bothering him. However, the entire US Track team was a disgrace in Beijing. Maybe next time they'll actually practice the relays as a team before race time (no joke).
