I really don't have an issue with having gay characters when it makes sense. I think a great example is Ian in Shameless. With that many kids, it's fairly likely that one would be gay and it works within the framework of the show. But, in The Walking Dead they would literally introduce a gay couple in an episode then kill them off 10 minutes later.

I feel the same way about sex scenes when it doesn't even make sense in the script. They're just throwing something in because they're too lazy or stupid to write something better.

Some of the things that bother me is turning superheroes (which are primarily kid things) into gay characters. I just don't understand why sexuality has to be inserted into everything. Just tell a story and leave sexuality out of it altogether.

The biggest problem is everything is politicized. Highly politicized.

I gotta admit that I enjoyed Ben & Jerry's white knighting (Uh oh. Can I say that?) for giving Mount Rushmore back to indigenous peoples because the land is stolen, and then a tribe reported that the land Ben & Jerry's corporate headquarters sits squarely on stolen indigenous people's land. So. Will Ben & Jerry's walk the walk, or just talk the talk? My guess is talk the talk. Most liberals like to virtue signal, but when it comes to actually doing something meaningful run.

We aren't crying about trials and tribulations. We just don't understand why we have to celebrate who somebody sleeps with. I mean for years I went without knowing who everybody sleeps with now, not only must I know, but I must celebrate it and attend a parade about it. If i don't go to the parade, no problem. It will be all over the news services complete with pictures. Gay Pride Parades get more coverage than Fourth of July parades.

I guess I am a bigot since I said something negative about it.

Nobody should be discriminated against. I agree with that.
But my speech should not be regulated (Pronouns) nor should sexuality be taught in schools.
