Like walking in downtown NYC.

UGA has completed multi million dollar improvements to the locker rooms and a Jumbotron. I believe they are still working on improving seating and concession stands. Long as the bathrooms work, should be a good experience for visiting fans.

Samford Stadium is a nice place to watch a game. It just doesn't have the intimidation reputation that some other stadiums have.

You can actually go wrong with over half of the conference.
Sad, yet true.

Tiger Stadium is a dump.
JHS is not far behind.
Top three are
TAMU
Arkansas
Alabama

Please whisper.
Bryant Denny's current ticket holders might be currently too old to stand and cheer against an actual team with a pulse.

Our stadium ranking is too high. Our atmosphere is great but the stadium itself needs a facelift

Are you ranking stadiums or atmosphere? Atmosphere LSU deserves to be there. Stadium, I’d listen to other arguments.

Because people are often there for 4.5+ hours at a time.

Jordan Hare is legitimately bottom half of the SEC, if we're talking "nice."
quote:Is a distraction, IMHO.
And the Jumbotron
JHS needs a face lift, do something about the exterior and flip side of that AubieTron. The crowd noise is great and Gus has only lost 9-10 games in JHS in the last 6 yrs, so it has a good home field advantage.

I literally posted photos of Jordan Hare and the 7 stadiums that are easily "nicer."
Which one of those in that list would you argue Jordan Hare is nicer than?
I mentioned the Jumbotron being the only reason it's not behind Kentucky, but I'm not sure that's true either. Kentucky's stadium is much nicer, renovated in 2015.

Truth is stadium are judged by the following:
1. View of the field/ comfort
2. Video system
3. Sound system
4. Proximity and conditions of Restrooms
5. Concessions (quality and variety)
Everything else is cosmetic/superficial unless you own a luxury box. I am the first to complain about the exterior of JHS, but truth is AU is competitive with those 5 areas.

I don't think so.

Where does JHS lack in those 5 areas? Sound system and video board is a good as anywhere. Not really a bad seat in the stadium for the average fan. Food is typical stadium menu, no sushi or fine dining, but who wants that at a game. That leave Restrooms, no fur on the tolit seats, but who takes a shite at a football game?

The video screen sucks. Way too big to where it's a distraction instead of an asset, and it's hard to see it clearly if you sit anywhere near that end zone. I'm still pissed that we're putting one of those monstrosities in the south end zone at BDS.

Sure there is. Hell, you have some seats that are below the playing field. You can't see shite from the first few rows and you don't even have players in your way. Not to mention the entire stadium is bleacher seating.

The restrooms are too small.

The video screen is actually something I didn't think I would like until I saw it in person. It is big but it makes the game much more enjoyable in person. The boards in BDS are like watching a game on your iphone.

Just like every stadium in the SEC. But we are talking about a few hundred seats. How many stadiums in the SEC have armchair seating for the majority of their seats? Like I said compatible with everyone else in college football.

The restrooms are too small.
Again, who judges a stadium by how spacious the restrooms are ? Woman have the most to complain about, but men should spend a total of 4 min during the entire game to take a piss.

What’s the ranking based on? Just curious to the OP’s thoughts..seems like a fun debate. Atmosphere, luxury, intimidation factor for visiting teams/fans, etc.?

BDS is new and shinny , but the video boards are limited and is like watching on an iphone. They have a good food selection, but nothing I want or need during a game. And a urinal is a urinal. The stadium is straight up and is like watching a game in a canyon. Not much view of the sky, almost like watching in a dome, but without AC.
