You are seriously arguing that we should have been exposed to three solid weeks of nonstop human interest stories about Meyer looking to leave coaching with one last NC under his belt? Seriously?

I think the media has an axe to grind with Meyer. They came after him hard this year and two years in a row made OSU the odd man out. OSU is one of the blue blood programs in the country - who did Meyer piss off?

Well, media doesn't control who gets in the CFP, and both times were absolutely excusable. But the media loves a good swan song more than it hates anyone. Swan songs let them write big fluffy sentiments and heart-wrenching final lines. They gobble that stuff up.
