I'm angered by both the destruction of the tradition and the destruction of trees with that much history behind them.

"This herbicide is extremely active and persistent," Keever said. "It's very likely to be in the soil for 3 to 5 years."
Damn. They may have to dig up about an acre sized area just to be able to replant new trees. This guy was not fricking around when he put this poison in.

The 9/11 of Auburn? Oh sweet Christ.
quote:
I'm sickened and saddened by the vandalism on Auburn. It's pitiful what people will do. If ANY one could figure out how to save them, it would be Auburn.
quote:
This confirms what most people already knows--BAMA SUCKS!!--Killing trees--come on man
quote:
I PITY the person(s) that felt compelled to go out of their way to destroy this beautiful piece of history...a miserable, hateful, pathetic, disgusting shell of a human being. The trees may be gone, but you CANNOT kill the spirit of the AU family. ALL IN.
quote:
So sad, what will the Auburn fans do here? What goes around comes around, retaliation is a bitch!
Posted on 2/16/11 at 6:29 pm to Ross
They'll find a way to make it a felony.

I don't condone the perptrators but am not surprised something like this happened on the heels of AU's BCS. Bama fans must be killing themselves (and trees) to sit in AU's shadow.
Why don't they have cameras and 24 hr surveillance with all the shanangnas that goes on at Toomer's Corner?

I like the fact that students are rolling Toomer's right now. To me it shows that they can do whatever they want, but we are Auburn and we are CHAMPIONS.

There is a camera on Toomers that provides a live feed. The stream is on some website I don't remember.
