We had the nations best pass defense last year and have top 5 DB talent annually.

You didn't have the best pass defense that last 3 years. And making a good secondary even better only increases odds of winning more games. That's like saying we had the best WR corps in the SEC last year, but another 1st round WR wouldn't have helped us.

He would not have helped unless he called a different play. That was just an excellent play call by Bama.

Was a brilliant play call....but some of the arm tackles were epic.

No hard feelings towards the young man for selecting Alabama. LSU lost the bidding war, we refused to provide his GF with a job in the athletic department. It happens, win some, lose some.

LC at LSU would have resulted in 0 more victories.

He leaves Alabama as an All-American strong safety with a NC ring, two SEC title rings and a perfect 3-0 record against his hometown LSU Tigers.
Maybe so. But in the end, he's still Landon Collins

LC is so poor in coverage, he's gonna be the first or second safety picked in the draft. NFL GMs are so dumb.

They are drafting him based on his run support, which was always great. In coverage he was burned repeatedly.

I'll guess we will just have to settle for winning the actual games we play against each other.

Kwon is vindicated too considering he was more productive for LSU than Collins was for Alabama

Weird. Define production

Collins had more tackles, interceptions, touchdowns, and as many forced fumbles as alexander.

He's going to be a first round pick, into a pass heavy league, because of his run support. At safety.

Yeah I'm with the Bama guys on this one. Kwon was a good player for us, but shouldn't be brought up in this thread.

LC was extremely productive for Bama and for a longer period than Kwon.

Totally different situation too considering his injury in high school and its a totally different position.

Do you understand how there are TWO different safety positions? Landon is not the one who roams free in coverage, FYI.

Wait what?!?! Two safety positions!?!

Only one of them is required to pass defend though right? Other wise why would such a bad pass defender like LC be considered a first rounder?

Damn. Some Alabama fans are so insecure. You do realize you own LSU, right? We are aware of this as well.

Congrats.
