Ehh...I don't recall anyone saying that. Hurts was struggling but that defense was an all timer.

The 2016 Alabama squad is the best team Saban has ever assembled. Too bad they couldn’t seal the deal in Tampa. That defense was just unreal. And the offense was damn good too outside of having a true freshman QB.
