Am I alone in thinking there's way too much foul territory at TDA? It's already a pitcher's park, but why did they feel the need to push backl the stands inside the 1st/3rd baselines so far from the field of play?

At least Oakland has the excuse of being a multi-use facility. There's really no reason for them to have designed TDA like this. Even from a fans perspective it sucks. Maybe I'm partial to my memories at Rosenblatt, but there's so many things I'd change about TDA

You may be right. Could just be an overreaction to just how big of an inning Texas had in the field then the throwing error by the Vols.

Hell, our season was a microcosm of how much momentum comes into play. Our teamed played off each other, both good and bad, every single game

They went from one of the best environments to turning it into a freaking morgue in the new park

I just never understood the need to build a new stadium. Rosenblatt was in a good location, had about the same capacity as TDA does, and had a lot of charm. If they wanted to spruce up the amenities, it could have been figured out. This new place, I agree, just seems like a generic coprorate ballpark that pushes the fans way back from the action
