Yeah he was so highly rated that he went at the very end of the second round huh?
\last year's running back class was stacked. Michele wouldn't been drafted ahead of any of the players drafted ahead of Kamara

Haha. Thanks. If things keep going the way they have I may have to.

You'd be more than welcome over here in Jawgia. Tennessee is a beautiful state. My wife and i had intended to move there for retirement, but grandkids came along and she doesn't want to get too far away from them.

But that's ok. You can live in Tennessee and pull for Georgia. might not want to go outside in any Georgia gear, though.

My brother lived in Savannah (Tybee Island) for years after he graduated HS. Heck, I guess he was there for about 20 years or more and only recently came back (his job moved and he broke his back). He won't outright admit it but I suspect he's become a Dawg fan. He's a huge fan of Chubb (so am I -- really it's hard not to be if you've followed him at all) and talks about Jawja all the time.

If he could get back to Tybee he'd be there in a heartbeat. I've always like Georgia both the state and the university. I like that our series is even and typically a very fun laid back game in terms of fans (of course the games themselves have been heart attack games minus that whoopin you put on us this year).

Jawja has good peeps and is easy to pull for when you're not playing my Vols.

Chubb is a genuinely good kid. I think he'll do well in the NFL.

We have a lot of jerks, but I guess every team does. Funny how a lot of people let their opinions of teams and fans get colored by what they see on the Rant.

Defintiely more of the outlier than the norm.

FWIW, I like Rocky Top!

I'm definitely rooting for Chubb. He was my number 1 target back when he was a recruit and I've followed him ever since. It's a bonus that he's a great kid with a very interesting family. Chubb is one of the best one cut and go RBs I've seen. Give him a good OL in the NFL and he'll go far. All he needs is a little space to run through and he's gone.

If we went by tRant I don't think there'd be a single fanbase we didn't think was full of jerks even our own. It really is a shame that we let it color our views at times.

And Rocky Top is a great song!

So is Michel a pro bowler as well since Kamara just made it?

Sony would have been drafted higher than Kamara last year if he went out as well.

Now, this is being stupid. Michel would have been a 3-4 rounder if that last year. This year I think he'll be higher though.

Why didn't he come out? He's still only ranked around the 7th or 8th best back on most boards. So he improved his stock coming back and STILL isn't projected to be drafted higher than Kamara? Why is that?

True. We all know it would be pointless for it to be Gurley vs Kamara, as Gurley is a top 2 back in the NFL. Fournette seems to be over worked while at LSU, as he can't seem to stay on the field. So yeah, Sony vs Kamara will be a closer comparison.

So what did Kamara do at Tenn that would warrant him to being drafted over Sony? Kamara ran a 4.56 which isn't great, and Sony would have balled out at the combine. Sony has shown much more at the collegiate level than Kamara, not even counting this year. You are just reacting to all this buzz but Kamara wasn't thought of as shite last year at Tenn. Reason why he was sitting behind J Hurd.

He wanted that Natty. There is a reason why we got the Kang, and yall got the big O.

Sony isn't the 8th best on the board. You dun't went full retard. And who cares what position you get drafted, Benie Wells went #1 RB and we saw how that worked out. Baring injury, Michel will be one of the best backs out of this class in the NFL, which seems to be loaded. Sony > Chubb > Guice.

Barber had some solid runs against Atlanta Monday night. I think they said he fumbled early in the game. Not sure about that but he looks a lot leaner in the NFL than he was at Auburn.
