They can file the complaint but title 9 as it is currently interpreted applies only when both parties are still affiliated with the university. Prior to that changing, cases could proceed if a student had withdrawn or graduated. In this case, the women are no longer affiliated with UF therefore they have no standing.

If there was no standing and the case had to be dismissed, then why was there even an investigation at all?

The investigation has to take place to reach the conclusion that the girls have no standing. The process has to play out. I’m sure the university wanted to know more about whet happened as well Golden”s current contract currently includes provisions against hanky Panky with students and. Employees. Florida is doing what it can to cover its arse if this comes up again.
Right now Golden is fine but that could change if these cases go anywhere else or if.more accusations come out in the future then UF will use that morals clause if they think they have to.
It sucks because dude is a good coach but dude has the kind of personality and character flaws that draw red flags. If he’s smart he never sends a sick pic to anyone again and drops low key staking women. Plenty of beautiful women off campus to be found out there.
