BTW, the better team wasn't the Arizona Cardinals.

Look at it this way. Do you think the talent gap is that big between Clemson and Alabama to the tune of 44-16? The obvious non purple glasses answer is no. So then you are left to ask well why was Bama beat so bad. Because of many of the things Saban said plus Clemson got all the breaks and made the plays when they had to. Clemson's third down conversions were insane. I dont know why you people get so bent out of shape over what Saban said. Clemson played better and they were better coached that night and they were the better team but lots of factors go into that

You should have stopped after your first sentence & it happens. Matters not why. Bottom line CU improved and Bama went backwards late. And CU was fresh to play an Alabama team that was seriously shop worn. You do realize Clemson was beaten for all practical purposes by freaking Syracuse late in the season. But again matters not why. It happened. The same scenario could very well play out this year. Dabo has everything. A big time talented ball club and a hard to screw up sure thing trip to the playoffs. A 2 game schedule. What a deal. Not bad for a walkon who Gene Stallings paid 12 grand a year as a full time assistant.
