UGA tends not to spend all that much (compared to other teams) when it comes to high school players.
When players become starters at UGA, the NIL deals pour in. And when UGA is targeting a transfer, they offer pretty big money as well.

Dude. Give it up. We spend as much and more than some other teams. but he clearly said we don't spend as much on High School kids..then spend more once they have proven themselves or on portal guys.

Tell you what. You show me where a Georgia poster said we "don't even actually pay guys that much" without taking a post out of context and i will say you were correct. But, the problem is...you can't. You have to take posts out of context and chop half of the post out to try to make your point.
When you have been proven wrong over and over again, it is just best to drop it....but you can't. You take posts out of context trying to make them say something they do not say and then strut around like you made your point.

I don't think any one particular thing happened. We lost a ton up front on defense from last year. The defense is just not that good. We've squeaked by all year because our offense is elite. It was only a matter of time before the wheels came off on defense. I also think our new D coordinator is in a bit over his head. He's a first-time coordinator and it's not going well for him. You guys are going to hammer us unless you turn it over and allow us to control the clock. If we get any defense at all it might be a shootout type game.
