Yeah, I think they outthought themselves here.

DoBoer has success, but it's a very small sample, and against relatively weak competition. Kinda like Herman at Houston, or the guy at Tulane that just left. Of COURSE Bama could pull him, but they could have gotten someone with a lot more experience too. Or, they could have grabbed someone with familiarity with the program, so it wouldn't be a complete learning experience.
