Who knows for sure until it happens....but i am pretty fed up with the Portal and NIL, so my thinking right now is I would find other things to keep my interested.

It is, but it would be impossible to set down clear metrics. There are always curveballs every year and you have another facet to consider. So, the next year you address those and more pop up and so on.

It comes back to change for changes sake, and ...well...after a while it is more trouble than it is worth. It's already hard enough to figure out who will be seeded and where and who they will face and where....and...and...and...

It’s easy to take that position. It’s not a solution.

Maybe the answer is a simple 16. No byes.

Just do the FCS model.

Or, cut back to 4 again...6 at the most and put everything in a computer and let the computer pick...the old BCS method, for instance. Seriously....does anybody really and honestly believe there are 16 teams that could legitimately win the title? 12? 8, even? At most 4 or 5 could win it in any given year, and in most years 3 or 4.
