LMAO.

Why is this funny......I mean in all of Bama's rich tradition's they can't seem to pull that one together.......

Because in Bama, we like the manly sports, not games that girls can play.

quote:

Your only laughing because it's a defense mechanism......

I'm laughing because it is irrelevant to the topic. You cant do that anytime in Baton Rouge or anywhere else. And most college football fans in this country couldn't tell you who won the CWS 2 or 3 years ago anyway because they don't care. Can I go watch LSU win a CWS this next weekend in Baton Rouge when I am over there? (snicker)

quote:

And watch a game at the New Alex Box blows away about 95% of what T-town can offer.....

Good lord, have I reduced you to baseball stadium smack? LMAO.

quote:

And your mention of alchol

All true and verifiable I might add. I wouldn't pffffffttttttt at drunken driving fatalities anywhere, or the fact that we have to pay the most expensive insurance rates in the whole damn country for the worst roads. That is sad and pathetic facts padna.

quote:

And the better half in Bama.........your other have can't be too bright nor Cajun if they married and associated with this better half in Bama.

Personal insults. I wouldn't expect anything less.

Please.......you are talking about girlie sports and snickering in your post.........

Baseball smack........you still didn't name a place where a man can drink a beer and play cards in T-town legally.......padna

Now your are gonna spew statistics like Bama is some fricking paradise with clean roads, sidewalks and landscaping.......

Can we then talk about the unemployment rate in Tuscaloosa as compared to BR?

Do you want to go that gay on me?

You cant legally. Is that important to you? You can drink pretty much everywhere. frick its not like Tuscaloosa is dry or something.

I have never met anyone that has went to Baton Rouge to play poker. I have met plenty of people from Baton Rouge in Harrahs playing poker though. And you are taking credit for a riverboat casino? Is that right? Ok, you supposedly got legal poker, finally you got one up on Tuscaloosa. Congrats.

I never mentioned Bama, just Louisiana. And all are verifiable.

If you want, I am willing to bet they are basically the same.

So ultimately you've concided that BR and T-town are basically the same?

I don't get your arguement here then........you haven't provided me with one bit of info as to why T-town is a superior town to BR? Oh besides the people not drinking and driving and having potholeless roads.....

Conceded? That was my stance the entire time.

That was never my claim. My argument is that other than the size, they are more alike than not.

Well if you eliminate the whole geographic location of the cites and it's proximity to other things then sure.......you are probably right........

But ultimately that's a factor that you can't eliminate in the end.

I just went to look at LSU a few weeks ago and my brother is also looking to buy a house down there. There's much more to do and it's so much nicer than Tuscaloosa.

I'm not from Louisiana, but I've been down here a few months looking at houses in Baton Rouge. I don't think BR is the greatest place on earth, but it sure is hell is better than Tuscaloosa.

I’m from Texas and I've been at LSU for 4 years now. In no specific order, here are some things to do:

- Legally gamble
- Freds/Bogies/Reggies
- Drive to New Orleans
- Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras.
- St. Patrick's Day parade
- Raising Cane’s
- Visit the Capital
- Visit the water park or the rollercoaster park
- University Club golf course
- Duck hunting
- Alligator hunting
- Fishing
- Go tubing
- New Orleans Voodoo Festival
- New Orleans Jazz Festival
- Louie’s Cafe after the bar
- Buy liquor at gas stations
- Buy daiquiris which come in a giant “to go” cup
- Walk around the LSU lakes or the levy
- SEAFOOD
- See live concerts at the Varsity
- Eat a shrimp burger from Roul’s
- Go say hello to Mike the Tiger.
