congrats..A&M is about to be a national player..Adding the state of Texas probably just double viewership in the south region for the sec..smart move for both parties.

A&M will need to win to keep the audience in Texas. The Longhorns are the Darlings of Texas. There is no EXCUSE for the Aggies not to be an Excellent SEC Member.

Agreed.
What really hurts the Big 12 is losing NU, CU and Mizzou and the viewership and interest those fans had in the conference. The Big 12 has become a regional conference and watered down with half-arse teams and fans.
IF A&M can have success, the sips reputation within Texas and the country will be greatly diminished. Somewhat like it was before the formation of the Big 12.

Road - It's damn big news when Arky, UF, LSU, Bama, AU, UGA, UT, etc. come to town. Huge marquee teams! Especially compared to BU, TT, ISU, KU, etc...
I'd say even the Aggie haters will tune in in record numbers to watch. Going to be fun!
