I dig this stat.

Also fun fact about SLU- our football program was the first to ever throw a forward pass in a game

LSU looks good so far, but they’ve only played 1 Q1 game and no true road games. I think they’ll be more competitive in the conference than expected this year, but let’s see them beat a good team or win a road game before we crown them.

So we're really gonna call the Gonzaga (Spokane,WA) game that was played in Seattle, WA. a neutral site game, huh?.....say yes to your self without smiling..ya can't!

Yes it was a neutral site. And UT did the same thing with them and played a follow up neutral site in game in Nashville. Which I am guessing they’ll play in a neutral site game next year in Birmingham.

LSU is probably the 4th or 5th best team in the conference, Steven.

I would have a hard time ranking the top 6 in the league right now. Most of that group has looked great at times and also had some head scratchers. LSU is just somewhat unproven, IMO. But hey, all you can do is win the games you play.

Conference play should be fun. I expect it to be a pretty tight race this year with Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, LSU, and Kentucky all having a legit chance to win the league. Can’t remember a more wide open year coming into conference play. If anyone in that group can steal a few road wins early, it might make the difference in winning the league or tying for 4th or 5th.

Thankfully there’s not a line in the win/loss column for almost losing.

There are no lines in a columned matrix dumb frick. It’s simply another column. Now finish blowing the wet leaves out of my yard.
