Only a southerner would think that. As far as I'm concerned every single southerner who flew that flag in the Civil War should've been hung. The South betrayed the Union, don't dare think it was the other way around.

My point is you all are so ignorant that you don't even realize and don't care what that flag means to other people. For most that flag represents slavery, oppression, dehumanization and everything that was and is still evil about this country. How would you feel if an American with German descent flew a swastika?

The Southerners were the communists, trying to keep a certain group of people as secondary citizens if not worse. If you had your way I guess I would still be in chains and talked to like an animal.

I have to say this thread makes me happy we're not in the SEC, I could never deal with the ignorant SEC fan bases if you all can not accept your own past. I have no problem with people who accept it and apologize, but people who think the South did nothing wrong in the civil war is just amazing to me. I am so glad we were able to get into the ACC.

At the end of the day at least UofL has its dignity and respect. How many violations had to occur for the SEC to win that many? UK fans I see why you all like the SEC so much, they all believe in the "win at all costs" mentality just like you.

I don't know if your white, black, hispanic, asian, whatever, but what that comment tells me is that your group has never been on the other side. Go to the other side sometime and I think you'll have a much better understanding what we have to deal with.
