The opposing team's band isn't in the upper deck at DKR. They're in the corner of the north side. You can see for yourself when A&M plays there this year. The issue isn't really the location. Although it's not as good as it was in the SWC for either Texas or Texas A&M. It's the number of tickets allocated. Also, in both stadiums the visitors are dispersed rather than located in one location.
And I can tell you A&M treats Texas very similarly. The visitor tickets are in the end zone in the upper deck on the north side. I can't even see the field from the 10 yard line in, from those seats. The good news, though, is that I can see the scoreboard after the game is over, and that's good enough.

Like it or not, I can tell you that over the years…SWC, Big 12, SEC…time and again, people talk about how Texas treats their visitors and prepares.
Whether it’s watering down a field before the game, not having AC in the visitor locker room, or putting Bama’s band in the top deck, y’all do some petty bullshite that draws discussion.

UTranny fans were throwing drinks at LSU players all because Joe Burrow set the passing record at their stadium and his 3 WRs all had over 100+ yards
