Take a look at this format.



11-14 seeds would have to win SEVEN games in SEVEN days.

The reasoning for this format is actually appealing. They want to make sure they get one of their better teams in the NCAAT.

Yeah, if you are the 11-14 seed in the Sun Belt (an already fairly-weak conference) it should be significantly tougher to get the automatic bid than the top seeds who have earned that right from their play all season.

I actually like that the Ivy League only allows the top four seeds to play. It doesn't really bother me, but it is a bit unfair that you be terrible all regular season, get hot for a week, and make the NCAA tournament.

Glad that these lower seeds are going to really have to work for it to even come close. Should have done better in the regular season.
