Losing a couple of bowl games doesn't mean the conference suddenly became shite. The SEC is the best league in football, period, and has been for a long time.

Meanwhile, LSU has managed to finish dead last in the west, fire their championship coach, and still have to put out multiple NCAA fires that threaten to burn the place down.

Florida vs UCF.
Florida was 2-6 in conference this year, and finished 2nd to last in the SEC East, only in front of Vandy. They were basically the 13th ranked SEC team.
They played the 3rd best AAC team.

Mizzou finished 3-5 in the SEC. Army is independent, so hard to gauge. But it's not like they beat an SEC powerhouse.

Auburn is 3-5 in the SEC and finished 6th in the SEC West. They played #20 Houston, who was the 2nd best team of the AAC.

Miss St is 4-4 in the SEC, finished 4th in the SEC west. They played a terrible Texas Tech team they should have beat. But that is classic Mike Leach, and they had lots of players out.
None of the teams that have played so far had winning records in the conference. Yet for some reason you all act like it's the top of the SEC losing to these teams.
I don't get it.

This, maybe 75%. It's true of course, but also IMO the SEC is typically objectively stronger than any other conference.

I have not and never will chant that stupid “SEC” chant. I could care less about what any other school in this conference does and I always root for the other teams playing all of you.
