is Brian Kelly a better coach than Les Miles and Ed O?

Neither Miles or O have coached at Notre Dame. They won their NCs at LSU. The school at which Kelly now gets his chance.

As far as football Xs and Os, is Kelly a better coach?

The only correct answer is yes. The SEC is fricked.
Miles and O have been successful somewhat against the bama dynesty and aIm under jimbo has been only a pest to be swatter away.

Plant Kelly into the same rosters and situations as Miles and O and it begins to look like an LSU dynasty on the horizon starting in .............. 2023ish

Coach O would probably be 6-6 yearly at Notre Dame.

Les would probably go 10-2 and 9-3 some years, but never make the playoff.

Les inherited Saban’s success and O… well… let’s just say LSU is the ONLY place that man would ever win a title. That was a case of Joe Burrow and STUDS all around him. Similar to Mac at Bama in 2020.

Plus BK has been handcuffed in recruiting as N.D. has very strict admission policies...limited number of partial qualifiers....can not take portal transfers, only graduated transfers, and no J.C. players. LSU, and the rest of the SEC, has no such limitations on its recruiting.
