Yeah, with level playing fields, we will never see that again. I’m sure it was nice to pay under the table to have five stars riding the bench.

Why would the schools with vast amounts of money (like Texas) not be able to just buy all the best players?
I get what you're saying, but when a school like Texas misses on four or five players that it's paying a million each, they will have to tighten up on the financials. We all know Texas has a vast amount of money available, but it's not going to just throw millions of dollars away each year with no type of return on its investment.

You've never heard of the New York Yankees?

I’d bet that people in the 70s bitched the same about scholarship limits. The bigger schools were hoarding players to keep them from playing for other teams. They won, everyone ate it up.
Then it became about how you could bend the rules and pay under the table. So the next generation’s greats dominated with that.
Now they are trying to figure out how to cheat this new NIL/TP system, give it time and the big boys will find a way to ensure they win more.
If you aren’t cheating, you aren’t winning.
**disclaimer: I don’t have a lot of posts, but welcome any bitch to complain about it**

I think he might have tried to "evolve" his plan
It’s silly for me to argue with saban’s success
BUT
He always had an UNFAIR advantage at bama
He lost the advantage because of NIL and the portal
He quit
He gave up
