I also love all the "yeah, well, you beat us in the worst ten year stretch of our program's modern history/you beat us with the worst coach we ever hired."
Who argues that? Certainly not Alabama fans because our worst 10-year stretch was from 1950-59. Losing seasons in 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956, and 1957. Three of those were with the worst coach in the history of the program at the helm (Whitworth).
Arkansas didn’t play Alabama in football until the 1962 Sugar Bowl - a game Alabama won by the score of 10-3.

4th and 31 just looked like fearful incompetence in a 6–6 that was starting to gel a little too late vs. the commanding poise of a team led by Nick Saban. It was almost painful to watch.

I don't know why you think this is directed at Alabama, but it wasn't. But every fan base argues this. Even in your post where you say you don't argue in this way, you have to shoehorn in "three of those were with the worst coach in the history of the program at the helm," like that somehow invalidates the losing. Fans love to add this qualifier like it proves something (even Arkansas) and they just can't help themselves.
