If it survives this shitshow, they shouldn’t even meet until after the conference championship games. It’s nothing but a media circus and they can’t even articulate what their criteria are anyway (FU Hunter Yurechek).
Best option would be to go back to the BCS computer model and pick the best 16 teams and get rid of the conference championship games.

Remove the AP component from the BCS formula, insert Vegas in. They would never do this though because it would put the actual best teams in, and they would lose control.
