none of those people or urban are walking through that door.
When did I infer that they were coming through the door to help us? I simply listed them as an argument to the poster who claimed UF is a place where QBs go to die. How many other schools have 3 Heisman trophy winning QBs? When was UF (other than the Muschamp era) ever a place that had the reputation of "killing QBs"? Where has coach Mac or Nussmeir ever been tagged with being bad at developing QBs?

Mac has done pretty damn goid with the QBs hes coached imo. We ll see how he does going forward with a guy he picked.

lol you have a 2 star on your roster at qb. I forgot what that was like.
You know what else you forgot about?? The 3 crystal footballs in our display case! You forgot your display case was empty!
I bet UF gets to 4 before Arkansas gets to 1
Please don't come back with something that happened 50 years ago. That a poll voted you #1. That would reek of desperation.

Goddamn, this post is dumb. Where do I start?
Muschamp isn't our coach anymore. Yeah, he was pretty bad at developing QBs. But Mac has shown that he's pretty good at it over the course of his career.
And, if you recall, we've had some pretty good QBs. Tebow, Wuerffel, Leak, Grossman, etc. Saying UF is "where QBs go to die" is beyond dumb.
Then saying we don't have any playmakers... Calloway is damn good. He was a big play machine with Grier. He was probably the best punt returner in the conference this year. As a true freshman.
Our backfield is unproven but I like Scarlett and Cronk. The JUCO looks nice as well. The OLine should be at least improved.
I don't expect to be amazing next year but we'll be at the very worst third in the East. If you're expecting a Muschamp-like train wreck you'll be disappointed.

Georgia fans trolling Gators about our QB situation!
They all just changed their underwear after Eason confirmed his loyalty. They had nightmares of him in Orange and Blue! As I heard a Gator fan post recently,"We could start Stevie Wonder at QB and still beat Georgia"

Lame
Keep talking about our QB situation when the worst QB we have fielded in years whipped your arse

Well looks like Franks is finally getting what he asked for. Zero competition.

Still, hard to imagine someone who can't start in HS can start at Florida
Then we all met Treon Harris
Treon was actually a pretty amazing HS QB, he's just in the wrong system- put him on Auburn and he's an All conference type by his Senior season.

You have team that hasn't won an SEC title ever, remind what that's like- does it suck to begin every year knowing the best you can ever do is get your arse kicked in the Cotton Bowl?

2* recruit that is the backup on his HS team
Man, the SEC better watch out
Eh.. Against Georgia we'll just start Treon, maybe next season you can stay within 20 pts, but you haven't the first two times he beat you.

The "favorite" for QB at Florida is someone who had to walk on at Bama.

I cannot wait to see what hilarity ensues as one of those crap-tier QBs leads their team to an improbable, last minute victory over TN.
It's going to be awesome. Probably the best and worst time of the year.
Frank's comes in as 3rd string kicker and nails 50 yards for the win. That's my call and it's still not as crazy as 2014- true frosh Treon comes off the bench to lead Florida back from 2 score 4th quarter deficit- the winning points come from 50+ on the leg of the same kicker who struggled to make extra points this season.

Ok one pass was about 30 yards or so in the air. Damn i forgot how bad OM was
Seriously, does the rest of the conference play pass defense? If so how did a scrub like Chad Kelly light them up?

Yes and the starting QB at Bama is someone who had to leave FSU to see the field.
