I actually was hoping he would. When I read that Saban had hired him as a position coach and read about his work as DC as Southern Miss, I was hoping Saban would just promote him to DC (the job hadn't been filled yet and it was obvious at that point Jeremy Pruitt was not going to be DC). When Florida hired him I thought it might have been a missed opportunity for Bama. Saban may have been hesitant because Golding, who came from a small school, didn't work out. Great find Gators!

Armstrong is almost as big of a fraud as Napier.
