Difference is that our D is built around Chavis's scheme. aTm is just a collection of talent with a scheme that has not worked.
Very difficult to compare the 2. Plus, you can take off the 5* Garrett off of our D, he was not the back up.

I couldn't find Welter's rating.

How are you confusing us with Arkansas.
Sorry, didn't mean to confuse a 3-5 conference record team with a 2-6 conference record team.
That said, you guys worried about West Virginia or what?

I actually agree with you on this topic.
I have always wanted to see what Chavis would look like as a DC on a normal college football team. I think his blitzes are unbeleivably predictable and simple. I never see us run stunts, twists, or have complex blitz packages. We send a guy around the edge, and occasionally up the middle. He does do a great job developing talent however, which is the biggest difference between the skill level of our defenses.
Also, the TOP is a huge factor. I never understand why teams run hurry up, no huddle offenses. I beleive you can have a very successful spread attack like an A&M and Oregon while going slower and possessing the ball. I think you may even have fewer mental errors that way as well. When LSU gives up alot of points, 9/10 times we lost TOP battle. When you can send a fresh unit out there every down, it helps tremendously.

You are so obsessed, its hilarious really
I like several players on aTm's defense. But as a whole aTm's group would not perform as well as LSU's doing the swap you suggested. LSU has shown they are better at scouting players on defense, and those low 4-high 3 star guys that every team gets that turn out to make solid contributions are what separate good teams from very good and great teams.

Well, at least you guys are giving an LSU/A&M rivalry a chance to flourish.

He shouldn't be rated...
I'm joking, not a basher of our guys. I think he was a 3*.
