It's probably more to do with them not understanding that I have a very dry/British sense of humor. Besides, I'd hate to think that so many of my fellows are deceived by my opponent's wiley charms. He's a great guy but I'm fairly sure he parks in handicapped spaces without a permit and steals all the disability chairs and races them in-store. That's a flaw I just can't get past.

That one always gets me when I see it.
I had a teammate who had one rough game, and he could never quite shake the resulting "toast" nickname (even though he was actually pretty good). Like years later, we still call him that as a joke.
