That's what I'm wondering...I haven't seen anyone from LA post anything worthwhile about the state outside of NO

It's also amazing how they've all shut up too.

I don't know if that is true, got something to back that up?

But hey, if you want to be a waiter, bar tender, bouncer, stripper, host or hostess, or work in a hotel, then Louisiana is the place for you and you will certainly be able to gain employment in those fields since Louisiana' s number 1 industry is tourism. Oh, oh and don't forget the casinos. Everyone wants to be a blackjack dealer.

If you want the worst public school system in America, come to Louisiana.

An incredibly high violent crime rate?
One of the highest illiteracy rates?
A population that speaks a form of broken english?
A state that constantly losses land to the Gulf?
The highest car insurance rates in the south and second highest in the nation?
Some of the highest home owners insurance rates in the country and don't forget your flood insurance.

Then by all means come to Louisiana.

And the trade off is good food and lots of booze, or as the natives call "culture".

But according to the US government, if you live in Louisiana you are more than twice as likely than a resident of Alabama to live in a mobile home. Number 8 in the nation in fact.

US Census

Doesn't that link hava Alabama at 14.7% (#5) and Louisiana at 14.0% (#8)?

It really is hilarious. Who knew Al. had all these safe, clean, world-class cities? All the people are so thin with nice teeth and they all are rocket scientists.

Well oh god, I hope I can sleep tonight knowing you may not come to our state again

Please carry-on though....this is quite entertaining for a former New Orleanian.

My previous point still stands. BTW, it's funny for LA natives to talk bad about anywhere else. What do y'all really think the rest of the countrys perception of you is?

I'm wondering where I said Louisianans don't speak broken English. I'm also wondering who in America doesn't deviate the language incorrectly...
