And before you post your predictable response, yes in some respects Lousiana is a "joke" on a national level as well .. but LSU sports isn't one of those respects. Ole Miss sports is irrelevant on a national level. You have a nice campus and some nice traditions, Black Bears notwithstanding, but your opinion of yourselves is over-inflated. Sheppard Smith is gay and that's OK, but he's sort of your poster boy. Nobody, really, cares about your frats, stupid catered tailgating, and Secret Service attire. Really. Get over yourselves, and if you want to talk smack on a sports talk forum, win something of significance.

How good is the job: If there's a school out there with a more inflated sense of itself than Ole Miss, The Dash wants to see it. This one is totally on a delusional administration and booster nucleus that couldn't tolerate five winning seasons in six years under David Cutcliffe (8), so they offed him. When they whiffed on several bigger names, Orgeron was the consolation prize. Now after three years, Ole Miss cut its losses and will start over. Forgive Cutcliffe for doubling over in laughter right about now.
