Texas scores on the last drive but fails a 2 point conversion.

Ouch. Did Casey Thompson score the winning touchdown too? Might as well just kick me in the nuts now..

I don’t see Texas as head and shoulders better than the top 6 teams in the SEC when it comes to professional preparation.

Since you seem to be an expert, how many players on the current Texas roster will get drafted by the NFL in the 2025 draft? 2026 draft?

Is it possible that Texas has 20 players drafted between the two?

If so, how many of the Top 6 teams in the SEC will have that many players drafted in the next 2 drafts?

Note: These numbers should not include Arch, Gibson, Baker, Filsame, Black, Wingo or Simmons. They will be in the next draft after that.

If OU’s entire starting WR corps wasn’t on the IR, I would pick OU in a close one. Sadly, missing the top 5 WRs would handicap any team and I think it’s the difference in this one.

24-14 Texas.

Please note: I hope I’m wrong and OU kicks those candy assed shorthorns.

This is what I’m saying. Everybody gives logic that says OU will go nowhere on offense.

And then they predict a close score in the 20’s or 30’s. wtf?
