Yes, thank God. Hence the flashbacks.

Anything will feel better than the Bjork/Jimbo combo.

This is like the Texans finally getting rid of Bill O’Brien and Jack Easterby. Everyone just feels like they are breathing fresh air.

Also, could do worse…

Gotcha, I can see the frustration there.

But he was there for a while right, so a lot of other hires besides Napier, no?

7 years. Several in non revenue sports including cam newbauer that led to a scandal

LINK

For revenue sports he’s made 2 hires besides bargain bin billy:

but maybe he might do better in college station because you’re administration isn’t cheap like floridas UAA

I think that Stricklin is looking to leave because he’s being handcuffed by our uaa/athletics administration and he wants to go to a place that is serious about winning

Stricklin's comments in interviews don't hint at him having the slightest bit of affection for UF. His actions demonstrate he hasn't the slightest concern for UF or doing his job with any integrity at all. Waive the buyout if there is one, and get him out of there. Hell, take up a collection and pay A&M to take him.

Dan Mullin seemed like a decent idea given the information available at the time. Didn’t work out.

But I’m not interested in hires that bring scandal…

Appreciate the info though

figure it might be worth mentioning. Most fans were also upset because he wouldn’t fire Mike white (a foley hire) and kept giving him contract extensions so they made a big deal out of the newbauer thing as a reason to call for stricklin’s firing.

It is worth mentioning. I really meant that scandal doesn’t get me excited about the potential hire. Don’t want to see hires that bring scandal at A&M.
