We'll see. We got that Kroger money though, plus gas points and coupons.
How can Florida state top that?
Have Kroger institute milk vouchers like Food City used to have and he'll be locked down for life.

I actually like Knoxville. Cool town.
Idk why ppl are shitting on it here. Much better than their cow towns.
Knoxville is a great town. It's beautiful there and imho is the perfect size city: big enough to where there is stuff to do, but not an exhausting grind.
On the con side, it is a smidgeon sprawly, but this is true of pretty much every decent sized town in the South.

You telling me one of the two states known 'round the world for manufacturing alcohol doesn't sell booze? Come on, UK. You can do this!
And not merely "one of the two", but the clear numero uno.

UT is going to win this one.

You can't buy Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey in Lynchburg, TN where it is made. Moore County is dry.

You can in the distillery just not at a store. That said, those are small counties where preachers institute the Baptist version of Sharia Law. Both Lexington and Knoxville are big enough to where those idiots don't reign. No reason UK shouldn't sell booze.

That big Budweiser brewery in Cartersville, GA was originally going to be in Cleveland, TN.
The Church of God was headquartered in Cleveland forever. The CoG put up such a fight. Budweiser said to heck with and went elsewhere.
That soured the relationship between the CoG and Bradly County and it's residents. Lot of good paying jobs got ran off.

I fricking hate that small county bullshite. Those 'ministers' and 'preachers' do more damage to their flock than anything else. What's worse is that it's not even biblical but a holdover from the Prohibition Era that still remains a tenant of their churches. Regardless, get religion the frick out of politics. Don't keep someone from a job or even imbibing for fun just because YOU personally don't believe in drinking. /rant

Yah, the fact that JD is produced in a dry county is the height of absurdity.

UT doesn't need mojo to beat us

Yeah but you're playing a WR as QB this year. That's a little unnerving.
Posted on 11/4/19 at 5:47 pm to Prof
True, how can you sack someone playing QB who is not one?
Posted on 11/4/19 at 5:48 pm to thatguy45
We should play JJ in the Wildcat all game just to even it up.

Is Guarantano still the starter for you all or have you changed to someone else? Havent watched any Tennessee games this year so don't know

He was replaced by Maurer but Maurer has been injured. He has had a neck/concussion issue. JG, otoh, had surgery last week and played Saturday with 7 screws in his hand after Shrout started the game against UAB but made an incredibly stupid pass that got him yanked. (Shrout throws an incredible ball - sorta like Bray did but is raw as hell and prone to stupid decisions). And technically, Jauan Jennings was the starting QB for the SC game with both Shrout and JG having very good games.
IOW, I haven't a fricking clue who our starter is going to be. I hope it's Maurer but whatever is going on with him is more than a simple concussion (I think it's a neck injury) and they're being very careful with him.

Well I hope he gets better. Sounds like Vols' QB situation has been about as bad as ours

Vols don't give a shite about football anymore. They're a bball school, have been for twenty years.
