Tuscaloser has regressed back into DENIAL.
I had such high hopes for him. He seemed to be well into ANGER, but has backslid.
How much you wanna bet he quotes some journalist again?

you should read up on the original lawsuit
The original lawsuit doesn’t have shite frick to do with anything other than it forced a judge to make a ruling. In that ruling, he issued a blanket statement. The ruling is what matters now.
Enjoy.

Think for a moment - why would Tennessee want an injunction on NIL rules that applied to only TN kids over an investigation that is centered around a California kid.

Again, read the ruling, retard.
I did, and I even copied and pasted it for you twice.
Words mean things.

I think you and Smokey’s Howl need to get on the same page. You appear to be arguing with each other.

Where in this ruling does it limit the decision to protect nobody but Universities inside the state of Tennessee/Virginia?
quote:
“For the reasons provided herein, Plaintiffs’ Motion for Preliminary Injunction is granted,” the decision said. “It is hereby ordered that, effective immediately, Defendant NCAA; its servants, agents, and employees; and all persons in active concert or participation with the NCAA, are restrained and enjoined from enforcing the NCAA Interim NIL Policy, the NCAA Bylaws, or any other authority to the extent such authority prohibits student-athletes from negotiating compensation for NIL with any third-party entity, including but not limited to boosters or a collective of boosters, until a full and final decision on the merits in the instant action.
TIA.

Alabama/Florida/Georgia/Texas/etc will all join the lawsuit shortly. I wonder why?

Where the frick did I move the goalposts?
You stated the following:
quote:
We can go anywhere we want and get recruits, and you can't.
That is false. We can do anything you can do.
quote:
We can, EVEN THE SCHOOL ITSELF, negotiate payments to them hahaha.
You can't.
That is false. We can do anything you can do.
quote:
At least not until you join the lawsuit :-D
This is false. According to the ruling I’ve now copied and pasted 3 times, this is a blanket injunction that protects all schools from the NCAA. Including the ones tampering with your players over NIL deals.
Enjoy.

Tuscaloosa moving in for the kill

Get prof to explain it to you. He’s already tried. Here’s an explanation from Clay Travis’ Outkick. He’s a UT guy. Maybe you’ll understand him.

For the time being, the NCAA will seemingly set aside most of these rules pertaining to NIL, which will make the upcoming spring portal period that much more intense. Now, collectives will be able to have free conversations with players about specific numbers, which will lead to bidding wars for prospective student-athletes and portal entries.

Kid, you had a two page melt about how you were going to be able to raid Tennessee but we wouldn't be able to raid anyone else.
You were wrong.
You're an idiot.

Smokey you appear to be taking this victory rather hard. Are you going to be ok?
Posted on 2/23/24 at 5:38 pm to Tuscaloosa
So just for clarification - on the last page you claimed this only applied to TN high school kids and now other schools would raid the state. Is that no longer your stance?

Kinda like this? You were wrong about literally everything in this entire post.

That was a few pages ago. Prof provided some context, so I went back and re-read the injunction. He was right.
Wild Wild West.
