I believe you won our bet last year but never enforced it. Therefore I say go Vols in every game but ours

Are you coming to the game?

I'm a very kind man. It was just more of lighthearted banter anyway.

As for the game, I would love to make the trip, but no plans as of now. With this damn scheduling we won't be playing in CS for another 10 years

Schedule is too easy. Even if we disappoint this year, we won't drop all 3 between UF, UGA and A&M.

Which is what your fans were saying the last time ut played 4 consecutive SEC opponents in 4 consecutive weeks outside of November. Way back in 1962 and 1963. Lost ALL four games BOTH years.

Butch looks like a lesbian, but he's actually done a good job rebuilding Tennessee's talent base. It seems like nobody remembers how awful they were when he got there. He really needs to win this year though. There are no more excuses.

The stretch from Sept 24 through Oct 15 makes or breaks their season. That is 4 good defensive front 7s in a row for an oline that allowed almost 8 TFLs per conference game last year. Getting through that with a .500 record won't be easy.

Yeah! It's the reason ut didn't schedule like that from 1964-1991 when they made out their own schedules. And it's the reason the SEC didn't subject ut to that from 1992-2011 when Roy Kramer was responsible for the schedules. And the good ole boyz that Roy Kramer left behind in the scheduling department must be all gone because ut hasn't been subjected to that until now. Yeah! 53 years to be exact.

Still pretty ridiculous that you're putting so much stock in something from 1962-63. For fricks sake that's right around the last time Ole Miss was halfway relevant.

Fair enough. Are 2011 and 2013 current enough for you. I missed the 2011 one at the end of the Kramer schedules and the 2013 one after his.

In 2013 ut lost the last 3 of the 4, and in 2011 they lost all 4. Face the facts. Your team has a terrible record when playing 4 SEC games in 4 weeks.

Neither of those teams resemble the 2016 Vols in any way whatsoever. Not to mention that 3/4 isn't the same as 4/4.
