He also has a 3.8 gpa and 27 ACT. Pretending as if he is some clueless and impressionable kid who didn't know right from wrong is not going to work.
He is clearly a sick and twisted individual, and he does not deserve the privilege to play in the SEC or any other major conference. I can't believe how many scholarship offers this kid got (including Stanford). I hope they weren't aware of his previous legal problems.

Well I'm sure you'll be glad to find out that Hood didn't do that.
So you think that the person who rats out their own family member to be killed is not guilty and its all the guy who killed the family member's fault. He could have stopped it, and regardless rather or not he actually did the rapping, its just about as bad. Its a real sign of character.

best quote I've seen so far.
"So, he should have every opportunity taken away from him?"
"At the very least, this opportunity. We should give his cousin a scholly not him."

You cannot have contact with a recruit at 14 or even 15 I thought you had to wait until the kid was a junior. So how could you stop recruiting a 14 yo. Sick F&^k.

That was my point. On the first page people were implying that teams stopped recruiting him when this happened, which couldn't have been the case because he was 13 when it happened. Sit down.

I guess I'd rather give the guy the benefit of the doubt. If someone told me to go get a plunger and some cellophane while we were picking on someone, I doubt "We're about to stick this up her hoo-hoo" would have crossed my mind - particularly when I was 14 years old.
He didn't rape the girl.
What are you talking about. 14 is when the mind is in its most perverted stage. Yes it would have crossed my mind, particullarly because she was TIED DOWN AND NAKED ON THE BED!!!!!!!!! What the frick would you think the guy was going to do with the plunger and cellophane!?!?!?!?!?! He helped undress her for fricks sake, which in and in itself may legally be rape. I mean holy frick. He watched it happen and helped undress her and tie her ankles to the bed!!!! He is just as guilty as the person who stuck the plunger in it. He could have stopped it, but instead he rooted the guy on and assisted him.

They were implying (or at least should have been implying) that teams stopped recruiting him when they found out about his extremely depraved past.

Found guilty!
Appealled (imagine that)..lost the appeal. Remanded to Child Services or sumfin like that...supposedly until he was 19. Now he might get to roam the campus of UT.
Maybe the UT offer was a joke. Hopefully it was!!!
