Georgia fumbled on a successful play on the opening drive.
Georgia was playing without three of their best defensive linemen.
Georgia was playing without its best WR.
You’d be a millionaire if we all pitched in and gave you a million dollars.
See how this works?

Snapped a pick of General saying Sanford wasn’t loud

1) Safety not upheld
2) Arian Smiths dropped pass
3) One entire half of eating clock running between tackles
4) Mercy knee on their 25 to end game
Yep it could’ve been much different

People are talking like this game was one-sided
Because it was. It doesn’t matter what COULD have happened. The game was over after the 1st quarter.

A lot of people in denial about how out of reach the game was after the 1Q

Would be a battle of 11-1 teams for a spot. Vols better hope for a blowout, a uga win over lsu, a tcu loss, and a 2 loss pac 12 champ
It will Take a bt of help, no doubt.
But TCU has an extremely back loaded schedule. They have Texas, Baylor and Iowa State.
I mean they could take a:
PAC 12 one loss champion (Particularly if it were Oregon)
B10 Champion
SEC Champion
SEC or B10 runnerup (It would be B10 runnerup if they play a close game. SEC runnerup if we beat LSU and OSU/Michigan is a blowout.)
ACC is out now that Clemson got trucked so late in the season. Key will be TCU. If TCU wins out only one team from the SEC. So many variables.
I hate the idea of the playoffs expanding to 12 teams, but this year is a good argument for it to happen. I could ALMOST get behind it if they went by the final polls and took the 12 top ranked teams with no regard to G5 or conference champions.
ETA
Interesting tidbit....If there was a 12 team playoff that started tomorrow Clemson would be out, Tulane would be in and there would be 5 SEC teams in the 12 team playoff.

Exactly. It was hardly the beatdown that UGA fans are acting like. Tennessee just didn't play well at all.

Yes. It was. Without rain it could have been much, much worse.

When one team is so much better than the other, the other tends to not play well. It’s not a coincidence.

WRONG. We hit those passes and the momentum shifts to us. Every game always cone down to a few key plays for each team no matter how bad the score is or isn't. We lost that game early on by not capitalizing on UGA mistakes and not siezing our chances. At the end of the day, these are still kids out there and momentum goes a long way.
UT offensive line and Hooker both get a solid F grade for this game. If we come out sluggish against Mizzou i will have to put the blame on Heupel. I do believe this game lit a fire under their asses though and we won't get that kind of letdown performance again.

Even making excuses in a win. Its just in the UGA DNA.

Uga took your chances and smashed them.

UT-289 total yards
UGA-387 total yards
UT-195 PYds
UGA-257 PYds
UT-0 sacks
UGA-6 sacks
UT-6TFL
UGA-8TFL
Hooker-5.9 YPP
Bennett-10.3 YPP
UT-Longest pass from scrimmage 28
UGA longest pass from scrimmage 52
It was a beat down by any measure.

Injuries.

Hey, we get it. Alabama is sitting at home with two losses and now you are pouting. It's ok. Go back and get ready for next year.

Be thankful for it as it is why we quit throwing the ball all over your awful D.

Would this be considered making an excuse even when you win?
We 100% lose to Texas without the Ewers injury ...

Kirby quit throwing it because despite playing a great game overall, Stetson tends to make very questionable decisions out of nowhere at times this year.
Against Florida he threw into triple coverage at least 5 times. Saw a few times against Tennessee as well. The smart thing to do with how bad our offense was playing was to run the clockout.....rain or no rain.
