I agree with OU having a solid defense.

You think UT's line looked like the NFL? Consider what they were going up against, a patchwork Sooner offensive line that could not protect the QB from Houston and Temple.

The Vol defense is going to look mediocre against Georgia and bama.

If you’re gonna go that route, you could say the same thing about OU’s defense. Tennessee played right into OU’s strength, by running the ball 52 times. Tennessse rarely threw the ball downfield. Iamaleava only had 13 completions on 21 attempts. Tennessee’s offense was super conservative last night. When OU plays a team that has an offense with a pulse, they’re going to give up a lot of points.

Both starting tackles were out. We weren’t going to throw unless we had too. We burned clock the entire second half. I hated it but I can’t really argue with it.

I get that and I was just playing devils advocate to the comment about Tennessee defense not being good. I think it’s legit.
