My bad! Completely understandable that Ole Miss fans would have no clue I was referring to the SECCG.
Let me clarify for those of you who never sniffed the SECCG. It was a game played in Atlanta for 30+ years. You had to win your division to go there. This is why it is foreign to Ole Miss fans.

Therein lies the contrast between the NCAA not having any authority over NIL deals and still having an authority over the recruitment guidelines.
To scrape everything would bring us full circle back to the days where a school could give out 120 scholarships and have unlimited contact with recruits.
Tennessee is basically championing their own demise as a potential contender in several sports.
