Auburn is in need of an OL coach and #sauces are saying Davis gets and interview.

Yankees need not come into this thread.

He was only here one season. And our O line was mediocre at times to rather shitty at times.

Davis is a motivational speaker that recruits really well. I’m not sure how good of an o-line coach he is, Mac got him from North Texas for one year and the line stayed about the same from when Summers was here, so he is probably just fine. Davis will keep you in the game with Gouraige, he loves the guy.

Listen to his intro presser if he has one. It is the greatest thing I have ever heard. I was legit fired up.

All downhill from there watching our OL technique suffer. A lot of our OL injuries were from bad technique. OL whiffed on screen blocks 90% of the time. A lot of false starts. North Texas OL improved greatly after he left.

Good recruiter though. Glad he is at Mizzou.

He was only here a year, most of our issues on o-line were S&C related with Mike Kent. Our line was soft, but you’re right I’m not sure the coaching was very good either.

Agree that shite S&C hurt the OL but they had bad form.

What was supposed to be a strength this past season turned out to be one of the worst units on an overall terrible squad.

But as was already mentioned, that might just have been a result of our shitty Colorado State-level strength and conditioning program.

Ultimately, he wasn't here long enough to judge based on this lone year but he seemed like a terrific recruiter. We were in line to haul in the best o-line class in the nation until he was let go.

If Auburn hires him, it seems to be a recruiting move. Going after some of the same OL like Gouraige and Barnes

He’ll probably get Gouraige his whole family was sold on Davis, I still think Barnes ends up a Gator, but crazier things have happened. Davis knows both families very well.

I thought he improved our run game but our strength program was so bad the AD himself told Mac to fix it. Part of why he was fired. So hard to tell. Lacked recruiting though.
